Join Maestro Frederick Binkholder for a discussion of the work of acclaimed composer, arranger, pianist and teacher Margaret Bonds. Margaret Bonds was one of the first Black composers and performers to gain wide-spread recognition in the United States and is remembered today for her popular arrangements of African-American spirituals and her frequent collaborations with Langston Hughes.
Maestro Binkholder is the Artistic Director of the Capitol Hill Chorale, Director of Choral Studies of Music at Georgetown University and Director of the Chamber Singers at Georgetown University.
