Our second concert, A Britten Holiday, features the seasonal favorite A Ceremony of Carols and gems from the lesser-known Britten repertoire explored on Cantate’s new CD A Britten Holiday, recently recorded at Church of the Epiphany in Washington, D.C.; highlights from both the concert and CD include Chorale After an Old French Carol and the fascinating Christ’s Nativity, written when Britten was only 17.  Michael Wu will be Cantate’s guest keyboardist in performance
