2016-2017 Concert Season: United Music

Welcome to Cantate’s 2016-2017 season, celebrating “United Music.” Music does indeed unite us all by reaching across political, cultural, and geographical borders. For our season, it reaches over the pond! Whether it be music written for kings or the common man, for churches or the concert hall, the choral traditions of the United Kingdom and the United States are strong. Our two countries are truly bound together – not only by a common spoken language, but a musical one as well!
